Yuletide insecurity: Forum tasks police on proactive policing

Participants at the Enugu State Police Command Youths Forum over the weekend,tasked security agencies to be more proactive in policing as a better way to ensure security of life and property in the urban and rural areas to keep miscreants at bay towards a safer society.
The forum, basically comprising of youth- based groups and organizations met at the police command headquarters to evolve ways to tackle emerging crimes in the state especially as the yuletide season approaches.
Commissioner of Police, Enugu command, Mr. Abubakar Adamu while welcoming the participants, vowed to implement recommendations of the forum with a view of bringing crime rate to the barest minimum.
