Apple's iPad Pro is out in the wild and available to buy right now, but a number of owners are having issues with the screen. Thankfully, Apple has an official fix.
Reddit and Apple's Support Communities both have reports of people plugging their iPad Pro in to charge to find it becomes unresponsive.
Some people also report that if you leave the charger in for any length of time, it can make the screen go black and there's no way of turning it back on.
A fix is coming
Apple isn't ignoring the problem and has issued a temporary fix on the support website – but it seems to just be turn it on and off again.
It reads, "To get back to using your iPad Pro, force restart it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo."
We've had the issue on our iPad Pro as well and can confirm a hard reset will fix the problem.
It's not exactly the best fix in the world, and Apple says it's looking into a more long term solution to the problem. For now, however, it's a case of doing a simple reset just to get it working again.
