While the Samsung Galaxy S7 is leaking left right and centre there have so far been very few rumours about the HTC One M10, despite the fact that it was largely assumed to be landing at MWC 2016 in late February.
But according to a new rumour from ithome, we actually won't see the phone until sometime in March, with it then hitting shelves in April. That delay, if there is one, would explain in part why we've heard so little about the One M10.
Supposedly several prototypes for the phone were created and rejected, forcing the designers to go back to the drawing board and delay the launch.

That's not all bad news though. If HTC is as worried about the design as it sounds it could mean that the final phone will be both different to what's come before and just as stunning.
The same leak mentions that the M10, whatever form it takes, will apparently use a Snapdragon 820 processor, which is no surprise, since many of this year's flagships likely will. It's also said to have a 23MP camera and a 3000mAh battery, up from 2840mAh in the HTC One M9.
It further claims that we might see a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button, which the company has done before in the HTC One A9. Perhaps most exciting of all is talk of waterproofing, which could make the M10 as durable as it is stylish.
As always we'd advise you to take these rumours for what they are- unsubstantiated claims, so don't put too much weight on them. But a delay would certainly go some way to explaining the lack of information on HTC's new phone.
