DISTRIBUTION of electoral materials was concluded before 8am under heavy security presence at the INEC office Brass.
Distribution began as early as 5am to ensure that materials going to the communities in the shore of the Atlantic arrive early.
Stern looking mobile police and regular policemen were seen patrolling the whole areas.
While some were enthusiastic, others were murmuring over their allowances. Some expressed fears that if the elections are over they are not sure if the allowance will be paid again.
Despite the heavy security presence, parties youths are primed for a possible clash in a bid to muscle their parties to victory.
As at the time of filling this reports, INEC staff and adhoc staff are busying setting up the polling units.
Eager voters are seen hibernating and itching to exercise their franchise, just as some petty traders and commercial motorbikes are doing brisk business.
