Following Anti-Uber Protest, French Government Announces Yet Another Law

The National Taxi Owners Federation is fighting against a scheme to solve the country's chronic shortage of taxis by the abolition of tight quotas and the authorisation of minicabs. Earlier today, thousands of taxi drivers blocked the roads to protest against Uber, Chauffeur-PrivĂ©, Heetch and other urban transportation companies.
