Surprisingly little is known about the HTC One M10 yet, but one thing that has long looked likely is that it will get a redesign.
Yet rather than having a completely new look it seems the M10 might resemble the HTC One A9. Or at least that's what a tweet from reliable leaker Evan Blass seems to suggest.
The tweet simply says "If you like the A9, you'll love the M10", which doesn't give us much to go on, but suggests they'll be similar.
Not the redesign we were hoping for
We've got mixed feelings about that. The A9 is as beautiful as anything HTC's ever made, but it's perhaps a little too close to the design of the iPhone 6S. It's also something we've seen before, rather than the completely new look we were hoping for from the HTC One M10.
Of course there's every chance the M10 won't be identical to the M9, it may just have certain similarities. It's also possible that Blass isn't referring to the look, maybe he means that other features like the fingerprint scanner and the 13MP camera will be inherited by the M10.
It's too soon to say for sure, but even if the One M10 does strongly resemble the A9, rumours of a waterproof shell and a Snapdragon 820 processor should help it stand out. The exact identity of the M10 might not be revealed for a while though, as although we'd expected to see the phone at MWC 2016, a recent rumour suggests it won't arrive until March.
