The best iPhone deals in the January Sales
iPhone 6 16GB | FREE upfront | O2 4G | Unlimited calls and texts | 1GB data | £27.50pm
If you want a great iPhone without paying a premium for the absolute latest version, you should look at getting at last year's iPhone 6 and this is a great deal right here. You'd be getting a refurb iPhone 6 - usually that means the phone has been sent back by someone else for a refund without opening it, so there's absolutely no reason not to trust the handset - they're sold 'as new'. And given that you'd be getting the phone for free with just a £27.50 monthly fee, this is a great deal! Total cost over 24 months is just £660

Techradar has negotiated the following three deals with O2, EE and Mobiles.co.uk - owned by Carphone Warehouse. We're recommending them because they offer better value compared to the other deals out there - but don't take our word for it, you can use the price comparison tool below to compare all UK iPhone 6S deals in all capacities and colours!
iPhone 6S 64GB | O2 4G | £175 £75 up front | Unlimited calls | Unlimited texts | 3GB data | £31pm
This is the best iPhone 6S deal in the UK right now - none of the other retailers or networks can beat it. Use the January Sale voucher code TRJANSALEO2 at the checkout to save £100 on the superior 64GB version of the iPhone 6S and pay £75 up front instead of £175. Then you'll be on a 4G contract with O2 which offers unlimited calls and texts and 3GB data for just £31 per month. Total cost of this deal is £819 over two years.

iPhone 6S 64GB | EE Extra 4G | £100 £50 upfront | 1000 minutes | Unlimited texts | 2GB data | £34.99pm
Similar to the iPhone 6S deal above, this deal comes on EE Extra 4G instead of O2. The discount code TRJAN64 will get you the 64GB handset at half price - just £50 instead of £100. That leaves you paying £34.99 per month for 1000 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB data. With this deal you pay £25 less upfront than the O2 deal above, and you get EE's double-speed 4G tariff, but with the £34.99 monthly cost it does work out a bit more expensive. However, if you really want to be on EE (which is still by far the UK's most popular network) this is still a great deal and gets the techradar stamp of approval. Total cost of this deal is £889.76 over two years.

iPhone 6S 128GB | EE Extra 4G | £200 £150 upfront | Unlimited minutes and texts | 4GB data | £34.99pm
This is a great deal on the iPhone 6S 128GB, again on EE and this time with a better value contract but with a slightly more expensive upfront cost - as you'd expect from the top-end model. Using the voucher code TRJAN128 you can save £50 on the upfront cost of the best-of-the-best iPhone 6S 128GB - go for this deal if you need loads of space on the phone for music, movies, photos and documents. The monthly cost is the same as the EE deal above, but with double the data and with unlimited minutes instead of 1000. Total cost of this deal is £989.76 over two years.

Which iPhone is right for you?
1. Apple iPhone 6S
The best selling phone in the world is simply stunning
OS: iOS 9 | Screen size: 4.7-inch | Resolution: 1334 x 750 | Memory: 2GB | Storage: 16/64/128GB | Battery: 1,715mAh | Rear camera: 12MP | Front camera: 5MP
The iPhone 6S is the most advanced iPhone of them all, so if you want the best of the best, this is the one to go for. It looks very similar to the iPhone 6 below, but it's got a new '3D touch' screen which allows you to do different things depending how hard you press on it, plus a new camera, faster processor and a stronger frame. It's pricey, but as you can see from the iPhone deals table above, it's quite a bit cheaper now than when it first went on sale.

2. iPhone 6S Plus
The big brother to the phone above is beautiful and powerful
OS: iOS 9 | Screen size: 5.5-inch | Resolution: 1920 x 1080 | Memory: 2GB | Storage: 16/64/128GB | Battery: 2,750mAh | Rear camera: 12MP | Front camera: 5MP
The iPhone 6S Plus is very similar to the iPhone 6S above but it's bigger and, some would say, better. Some will find the bigger size inconvenient but for iPhone users who have looked on enviously at all those gorgeous Android phablets out there, this is the phone for you. The screen is big enough that you won't be reaching for your iPad as much. There are few reasons to upgrade from an iPhone 6 Plus to this phone, but if you're on an older model and you want the best iPhone with the biggest screen, this is definitively it.

3. Apple iPhone 6
Still a stunning phone and one of the best iPhones ever
OS: iOS 8 | Screen size: 4.7-inch | Resolution: 1334 x 750 | Memory: 1GB | Storage: 16/64/128GB |Battery: 1,810mAh | Rear camera: 8MP | Front camera: 1.2MP | Ranked: #2 in TR's best mobile phones chart
If you want the very best iPhone money can buy but for the absolute best value, we highly recommend opting for the iPhone 6. Last year it was the best iPhone ever and it still offers the premium experience you've come to expect from Apple and lots more. It's bigger, better, sleeker and faster than the other devices below on this page - and it's not as expensive as you might think. Check out the deals we've found above.

4. iPhone 6 Plus
The biggest iPhone ever is the most visually stunning to date
OS: iOS 8 | Screen size: 5.5-inch | Resolution: 1920 x 1080 | Memory: 1GB | Storage: 16/64/128GB | Battery: 2,915mAh | Rear camera: 8MP | Front camera: 1.2MP | Ranked: #8 in TR's best mobile phones list
If you're looking for something a little bigger but without paying the asking price for a 6S Plus, check out the iPhone 6 Plus. It's the biggest iPhone ever, jointly with the newer model, it's practically an iPad in fact. But with the trend towards larger phones these days, the iPhone 6 Plus is still selling well. It is a little pricey, but if you check out the iPhone deals we've found above you'll see it's not that expensive and certainly cheaper than the 6S Plus!

5. iPhone 5S
The official 'budget' option is still a good phone and available very cheaply
OS: iOS 8 | Screen size: 4-inch | Resolution: 1136 x 640 | Memory: 1GB | Storage: 16/32/64GB | Battery: 1,560mAh | Rear camera: 8MP | Front camera: 1.2MP
2013's flagship iPhone 5S is still very much worth a look. You can get loads of great deals from all the networks and you don't need to pay an upfront fee either. This is still much better than most other phones out there so if you want the premium iPhone experience but don't want the bigger iPhone 6S or don't want to spend quite that much, check out the iPhone 5S deals above.

6. iPhone 5C
The cheapest iPhone currently available on contract
OS: iOS 8 | Screen size: 4-inch | Resolution: 1136 x 640 | Memory: 1GB |Storage:8GB/16GB/32GB | Battery: 1,510mAh | Rear camera: 8MP | Front camera: 1.2MP
And of course, the iPhone 5C has the best deals of the lot. OK, so it's basically an iPhone 4S in colourful wool. But this phone still looks awesome and performs admirably. Apple has officially killed this phone off - it's no longer making them - but you can still pick one up if you're quick. If you want a superb deal on an iPhone but don't want to pay much, this is the one to choose.
