It's becoming clear that HTC won't be launching its next flagship phone at MWC 2016 at the end of February, and according to new information it's set to arrive much later.
Portuguese site 4gnews claims the HTC One M10 (aka HTC Perfume) launch event is scheduled for April 11, which is almost two months after Samsung's and LG's February 21 conferences in Barcelona.
Whether that could spell trouble for HTC, as it gifts the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5 a comfortable head start, remains to be seen - but the gap does feel rather big.
New name please
It's not clear how reliable the source is, but it does fall in line with previous rumours which have suggested that HTC would wait until March or April to launch the One M10.
The report also states that London, England has been selected as the location for the launch of the M10 - although the source goes on to claim that the 'One M10' handle won't be used for this device.
Other rumours have tipped the One M10 to sport a similar design to the sleek One A9, while a modest spec bump and a potentially revamped are also expected to feature.
