Rumours have been building that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be water-resistant, allow them to one-up the design of the Galaxy S6, and a new leak seems to confirm just that.
An import listing from tracking site Zauba suggests the SM-G930 and SM-G935 – which we already know are the model numbers for the handsets – will feature a number of waterproof components.
The listing includes a waterproof mic and a SIM tray for both phones, then there's a waterproof tape just for the Galaxy S7 Edge. It's not clear what the tape is - but these are all positive signs.
Wet, wet, wet
It doesn't necessarily mean each device will be fully waterproof, but instead each could be water-resistant.
If that happens, Samsung probably won't recommend fully submerging the phone but it may cope with the odd splash here and there. This feature will just make your phone a little more reliable and you won't have to worry about getting it soggy when caught by a sudden downpour.
Pictures of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge have both leaked out now showing off the design we are likely to see at MWC 2016.
